About Law & Order

Law & Order is a compelling crime drama series, based in New York City, USA. It has been airing since 1990 and is still going strong. It may have been running for many years, but Law & Order still continues to bring up cases as fresh and new as if it was a brand new series.

Law & Order highlights the flaws in the American Criminal Justice System and gives a unique insight into how cases are seen through - from when they are investigated by the police, until the offenders are taken to the courts for prosecution. Law & Order spends the first half of the show looking at the police investigation and the second half looking at the prosecution by the ADAs.

At the start of each episode, the following is said:
