Basics

My name is Hazel, as you probably already know and I am 21 years old. I reside in England, UK in a county called Hampshire, which is in the south east. I work full time at an examining board, in a department where it gets manically busy in the months of November-mid February and May-late July. Other times, it is pretty manageable work and I do enjoy it, despite everything. I am also studying part-time towards my BSc (Hons) Psychology with The Open University, which takes up a fair amount of my spare time. I love it though. I've been interested in it for years and did an A-level in it too.

Hobbies/Interests

Aside from working and studying, my time is spent largely working on web design, photography, reading, watching various crime drama television shows and playing guitar & saxophone. Photography has been a passion of mine from the age of 6 and I especially like landscape photography. I have been making websites since I was 14 and love it, even if it is frustrating at times (I usually end up with creative blocks). Reading is a guaranteed form of escape for me, as is crime drama television. Musically, I'm into Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Enya and Dire Straits to name a few and have a deep love for 1960s and 70s music - oldies goldies! I have been teaching myself guitar since January 2007 and have been learning saxophone since early September of the same year. I love them both to pieces. :)

Personality

I'm generally a friendly, quiet person and I try to get along with everybody. I'm always thinking and probably seem a bit of a dreamer to some, but I'm very observant and pick up on a lot. Generally, I'm hard-working and optimistic, but I can also be lazy and a pessimist at times. I'm definitely a perfectionist and as a result, sometimes avoid doing things for fear I won't do them right.
