The animated series
The animated series is based on the books written by Colin Dann. In the UK, "The Animated Of Farthing Wood" aired in the 1990s on the BBC. I don't know whether it has aired in other countries. The BBC released VHS video tapes soon after the series finished. The VHS tapes are feature length and there are nine available, as follows: The Journey Begins, From Copse To Quarry, On To White Deer Park, The Challenge Of Winter, Friends & Enemies, New Beginnings, New Dangers, The Rise of the Rats and The Wanderers' Return. These tapes are now quite hard to get hold of. However, you can sometimes find them on Ebay or Amazon. As far as I know, there aren't any plans to release the series on DVD. There is a petition set up by a fan to the BBC though, to get it released. Don't forget to sign it!VHS Tapes
