Why I loved season 5
Firstly, I loved it because I thought many of the cases the team(s) had were very interesting. In particular, I enjoyed the cases in episodes
Viva Las Vegas (5.01),
Down The Drain (5.02),
What's Eating Gilbert Grissom? (5.06),
No Humans Involved (5.10),
Who Shot Sherlock? (5.11),
Committed (5.21) and
Grave Danger (5.24-25). Quite a few!
Secondly, I loved the season because there are quite a few very memorable moments, for me at least. Some moments are memorable to me because of interactions between characters, some because of a particular case. The ones that stand out in my mind are when the killer of the girls in
What's Eating Gilbert Grissom? (5.06), kills himself in a toilet stall, when Greg passes his proficiency test near the end of
Who Shot Sherlock? (5.11), when Sara confesses about her childhood to Grissom in
Nesting Dolls (5.13), when Sara is threatened by an inmate in
Committed (5.21) and pretty much every moment of Nick's kidnapping in
Grave Danger (5.24-25). These moments in the season had me staring, smiling and sitting on the edge of my seat. It made the season very entertaining for me.
